first barbe and swim in the sea

Can now mark down the 10th april as first barbeque of the year and the 11th April as the first swim in the sea of the year. There was sausages, burgers, kebabs and the now traditional throwing of marshmallows into each other mouths. There was also a game of cranium which someone as slow and dimwitted as me should not be subjected to. Went swimming at Croyde with Tom, Rachael, and Heather on the sunday. I proved my manliness by going in twice (I have to do it somehow). Though my legs are still aching from being riden like a donkey, being forced to take part in a human pyramid, and building a sand boat.

During easter the week before I also went to a 70s and 80s night. I was made to dress up in all white and wear a fake moustache to appear like I was from Miami Vice. It was well worth it though as my girlfriend Sarah dressed up as a goth and looked very hot. she had a fake nose/lip ring which suited her so well that i may make her get one.

I have to also mention Heather and Rachael here as they asked me last time if I was still writing my blog and whether I had written about them. I have them to blame for an experience which still haunts me now. CHICKEN CAKE. what warped minds would think up such a thing? I of course was a gentleman and ate it all without letting on how disgusting it was until everyone else had started to try it. 'I wonder why no one has thought of it before?' hmm I wonder.

I have also realised I have left out my day geocaching with Heather along the tarka trail. I am still not sure about the geekyness of it, but it does give you a reason to explore places. I am still annoyed however that Heather found the one on the bridge after half an hour of searching just as I had given up.
